Winter treks : Trail riding in winter
“Winter in Provence,
take the time to enjoy life…”
A 4 days winter ride: bucolic Provence
A stay and go trek with different trails every day between the Durance River, scrubland, olive trees and forests.
Winter in the south of France, a great season for an easy trek
The Luberon stays green in Winter. The sunlight is soft and the air is fresh without being cold, when the Mistral wind doesn’t clean out the sky and tangle the horses’ manes. But we are pretty protected on the southern slope. All winter long, there are little red balls on wild cynorodhon, and on the end of February almond trees bloom again.
The atmosphere is warm, Isa will be doing the cooking, provencal meals, wines, local drinks… You will stay in a friendly lodge, a little provencal “mas”, heated by a wood stove, right next to the horses at the foot of the Little Luberon.
The number of riders is limited to 4
